LokMe Privacy Policy

LokMe is designed to run locally on your Mac. We respect user privacy and keep the app simple: LokMe does not collect, sell, transmit, or share personal information.

Information We Collect

LokMe does not collect personal data from users.

The app may display the current macOS user name locally inside the preview window for visual identification. This information is read from the local system and is not transmitted, stored on external servers, sold, or shared.

Network Activity

LokMe does not require an account, cloud service, analytics platform, advertising network, or remote tracking service.

If the app includes bundled animation libraries or resources, they are stored locally inside the app bundle. LokMe does not use those resources to track users.

Data Storage

LokMe may store basic local app preferences, such as the selected animation effect or timer setting, using macOS local storage. These preferences remain on the user's device.

Authentication

If LokMe uses macOS administrator authentication to close the preview window, authentication is handled by macOS system APIs. LokMe does not receive, store, or transmit the user's password.

Third-Party Services

LokMe does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, payment, tracking, or cloud storage services.

Children's Privacy

LokMe is not designed to collect information from children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated if LokMe's features change. Any future changes should reflect the actual behavior of the app.
