WORKBRIEF PRIVACY POLICY Effective Date: August 21, 2026 Last Updated: August 21, 2026 WorkBrief is an iPhone and iPad field-service organization application developed by Barcala Studio ("Barcala Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how WorkBrief version 1.0 handles information when you use the application. 1. PRIVACY SUMMARY WorkBrief is designed to keep your work information on your device. - WorkBrief version 1.0 does not require or create a WorkBrief account. - WorkBrief does not request your personal OpenAI API key. - Jobs, customer details, business profile information, notes, drafts, recordings, photos, estimates, invoices, and generated documents are stored locally on your device. - WorkBrief does not include advertising or behavioral tracking. - WorkBrief does not sell or rent personal information. - Information leaves WorkBrief only when you choose an app feature that requires Apple services or when you intentionally share content. 2. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE Depending on the features you use, WorkBrief may process and store: - Business name, address, phone number, email address, and labor-rate settings; - Customer name, address, phone number, and email address; - Job titles, trades, service types, status, notes, discounts, line items, prices, tax settings, and payment status; - Voice recordings and reviewed transcripts; - Photos selected from your photo library or captured with the camera; - Draft customer messages, job reports, estimates, invoices, and PDF files; and - App preferences and other information needed to restore your saved work. This information is used only to provide the features you request and remains under your control. 3. LOCAL STORAGE WorkBrief version 1.0 stores app records locally on your iPhone or iPad. It does not provide a WorkBrief cloud account, team synchronization, or WorkBrief cloud backup. Your device or Apple account settings may separately include WorkBrief data in an operating-system backup. Apple controls those backup services under Apple's terms and privacy policies. 4. WRITING, GRAMMAR, AND TRANSLATION FEATURES When supported by the device and operating system, WorkBrief can use on-device Apple technologies to improve writing, correct grammar, and translate drafts between English and Spanish. These features are intended to preserve the original meaning while making limited improvements to clarity and tone. Availability depends on the device, operating system, language support, and Apple Intelligence or other applicable Apple capabilities. WorkBrief disables features that are unavailable on the current device. Generated, corrected, or translated text is always a draft. You are responsible for reviewing it before saving, sharing, or relying on it. 5. CAMERA, PHOTOS, AND MICROPHONE WorkBrief requests access to the camera, photo library, or microphone only when you use a related feature. - Camera access is used to capture job photos. - Photo-library access is used to select job photos. - Microphone access is used to record job audio notes. Media remains locally associated with the applicable job unless you choose to share or delete it. Deleting an audio recording also removes its associated transcript from the job where supported by the app workflow. You can manage these permissions in iOS or iPadOS Settings. 6. ADDRESS SUGGESTIONS AND APPLE SERVICES WorkBrief may use Apple-provided mapping, search, geocoding, writing, or system sharing services to provide address suggestions and other requested features. Apple may process the information necessary to provide those services under Apple's own privacy policy and device settings. Barcala Studio does not receive that information from Apple for advertising or user profiling. 7. SHARING WorkBrief uses the iOS and iPadOS system share sheet when you choose to share a customer update, audio file, job report, estimate, invoice, or other document. You select the receiving application or service. After content is shared, the receiving application or service handles that content under its own privacy policy. WorkBrief does not automatically send customer or job information to third parties. 8. ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING, AND TRACKING WorkBrief version 1.0 does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, data-broker integrations, or third-party analytics SDKs. WorkBrief does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies. Apple may independently process App Store purchase, download, update, diagnostic, or device information under Apple's privacy policies and settings. 9. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION Local WorkBrief data remains on your device until you delete individual records, use Delete All Local Data in Settings, remove the app and its local data, or restore the device in a way that removes the data. Generated files that you save or share outside WorkBrief remain in the selected destination until you delete them there. Device backups may retain information according to your Apple backup settings and retention rules. Because Barcala Studio does not maintain a WorkBrief version 1.0 cloud account or server-side customer database, there is normally no WorkBrief server-side app content for Barcala Studio to access, export, correct, or delete. 10. SECURITY WorkBrief relies on iOS and iPadOS security protections and limits access to information needed for app functionality. No storage method or software system is completely risk-free. You are responsible for securing your device, reviewing recipients before sharing, and protecting exported documents. 11. PROFESSIONAL AND FINANCIAL REVIEW WorkBrief helps organize and draft professional work records. It does not guarantee professional, legal, accounting, tax, pricing, trade, or technical accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing customer information, job details, prices, taxes, discounts, payment information, translations, and generated documents before sharing or relying on them. 12. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY WorkBrief is a business productivity application and is not directed to children. WorkBrief does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Barcala Studio account or server. 13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy when WorkBrief's features or data practices change. The revised policy will identify a new Last Updated date. Material changes will be reflected in the policy made available through the app, the App Store product page, or the official WorkBrief website. 14.
